Shelby Cobra Daytona body

Hand crafted aluminum model car body 42" long.
It's actually more difficult to built a little
model car then a real car.
Being off a 1/8 of a inch is a lot on a
model car but nothing on a real car.

  1. This aluminum body is amazing, I can appreciate how much more difficult building a smaller scale size body must be. I've recently been inspired to attempt a smaller scale body, 1/24th scale. I have worked with aluminum in the past, not attempting a body though. Are you bending anything manually? Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I will be looking through your site, thanks for the added inspiration. Scott

  2. I made the body on my bench with no special tools. You need something to cut the metal.
You work the aluminum with a hammer.
